Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jog!

OK! Home again! I was SO happy to see Daddy! I missed him!

On the way home, Mommy stopped and got us some hotdogs. She thought they were disgusting because they were soggy, but I thought they were awesome! I about bit Mom's hand off to get the dogs! Another thing about them being soggy was that I didn't have to chew them at all, I just swallowed big chunks of them... the stomach does all the work.

Thanks for a good trip and visit guys! I sure missed my bud Ginger. I wonder if she's coming home in June... We could walk down the aisle of the church together at Mom and Dad's wedding! That would be fun. I wonder if Baxter wants to be in the wedding too...

I was excited to see those who love me: Papa, especially--thanks for taking me on those good walks and to the park. I still had some cockleburrs in my fur Mom found this morning. Grammie, you're always a good one to cuddle up with, thank for letting me stay! Nancy--thanks for helping with the kayak adventure... and helping give me a bath after I fell in :-) RyRy--I did enjoy seeing you, you didn't really spend much time with me though, for that I was sad... you really need to work for status of "favorite uncle" and with Neal gone, it should have been hands-down winner for you, but I feel you didn't put forth much effort, but always good to see you.

I'll see some of you in December, the rest in June! Woo Woo!!!

Here is me eating my hot dog from Grammie and Papa! Thanks guys!
This was Mom's fuel to get home :-) She's a happier lady with this!
Here I am... HOME AGAIN!!!!
Here's a pic of my running through the fallen leaves in Pittsburg... I look like a gazelle!

Hi Guys!

My Dakota visit is nearing an end. But boy, was it a lot of fun!
You guys will never believe what Auntie Lisa let me do! She let me ride in her kayak! It was so scary at first, but I got comfortable with it and it was more enjoyable later on. I did end up falling in the water, just once though. Auntie Nancy was great and gave me a bath, Lisa was there for emotional support, but understandably, didn't want to be involved in the physical aspect of bathing me.
Today, we had some visitors at Grammie and Papa's house. Bernie was over, Joe, Renee, Jean, Taylor, and Joanne all came over too. Grammie made some really good BBQ turkey! There was also a bean salad that was amazing! It was pretty fun.

Here I am with Mom and Auntie Nancy before castoff!

Look Mom! All on my own!

I'm so cute!

On a side note, Lisa and Mom went to Canada and I am including some of those pics as well.

Thanks for reading guys!

Looks Like We Made It! (Yes, I want Barry Manilow to be stuck in your head now!)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
We made it to Grammie's and Papa's house! Our drive home was a long one though. We ended up stopping in Sioux Falls at a hotel, my first hotel stay ever! It was kinda cool, but there was a lot going on. I'm a watch dog, you know, so I slept right in front of the door all night long. I could hear people walking through the hallway and I was on alert, but Mom got a good night sleep!
We got to Fargo yesterday morning. The gas stations along the way didn't have hot dogs yet, so Mom get me some beef jerky. I don't know which one I like more! It was good though!
We got here, and first thing I did was go out in the back yard. I had to eye up those fish in Lake Martini! I didn't go for a swim, I figured it would be a little bit too cold. But I did sit lake-side and watch them for about 15 minutes.
Papa took me for a LONG walk last night! I'm not used to going on that long of walks. I went straight to my kennel afterwards and went to sleep in a matter of seconds! When everyone got home that night, I came out and was social for a while. I slept in the green room with my mom.
This morning, you'll never guess what I got! Grammie gave me a little bit of POT ROAST left overs! Boy was that a treat!
I don't know what we'll do today, but going to Grammie and Papa's house is always fun and exciting. Next time I hope Ginger will be home the same time as me...

P.S. I miss you Dad! Wish you could have came home with us!

Almost Roadtrip Time

Hey Everyone!

I can't believe it, I leave tomorrow to go see Grammie, Papa, and two of my aunties! It sure will be exciting to go back to ND! Maybe there will be a little snow left for me, as some of you know, is one of my favorite things! Mom got all my stuff packed up last night, so I'm getting really excited. I think the best part about going for roadtrips is that Mom (and Papa) always get me gas station hot dogs! They are such a special treat. Every once in a while, Mom also rolls the window down for me... she doesn't trust me a whole lot, she thinks I'm gonna jump out or something, so she only rolls it down a crack.

Auntie Lisa also told Mom she has something exciting planned for me... guess you'll have to wait to see the blog to find out what it is...

I wonder if I'll get to spend some time with Baxter this weekend? I'll really miss Ginger and the Roach clan, too bad they're not going to be there.

Gotta get going now, see you all later!

Welcome to my blog!

Hey guys!

I'm glad you came to visit my blog! Aunt Jen told Mom that she should start a blog... now if you know my mom, you know she's very busy these days, so she doesn't have time. But I thought, "there's no reason that you guys shouldn't hear about my life just 'cause mom's too busy to tell you!" So here I go!

Well... I will say that the weekend has started off well. So Dad's out of town this weekend (in Iowa for ROTC doing Ranger Challenge), so Mom went to Joplin with some friends last night. She ended up getting me a pair of winter PJs! They are super cute with snowmen on them! I haven't ever had a full outfit before! I've had shirts, but these jammies are so cool! It's like a body suit. These actually have pants on my legs, which is a weird thing... I wouldn't let Mommy put them on me easily, but once she got them on, they weren't so bad! They fit me just right! My tummy isn't covered up, so that gets a little chilly at night still, but that just means I get to snuggle closer to Mommy.

She also got a door mat for the front door. Now this wouldn't be that exciting, but it is all about me: "Dog on Duty" it reads. And then there is a silhouette that looks like me! It was pretty nice of her. It's sitting right next to the garden gnome on our front porch!

Now in the picture, look at the PJs, not me! I'm having a bad hair day. I'm due for another hair cut (and I'm putting my prayers in to The Man that Mom takes me to a groomer next time and NOT use Daddy's clippers on me again!).

Thanks for checking out my life, and welcome to my blog!
